She said yes! Couple gets engaged at The Casements, on Valentine's Day

A local couple got engaged to be married this Valentine’s Day, in a surprise proposal at The Casements.

During what she thought was a routine Valentine’s Day tour of The Casements, to decide whether or not to rent the facility, Zonovia Roberts was surprised with a marriage proposal, from her now-fiancé Dr. Curtis Proctor.

After touring the kitchen and gallery, the couple came to the middle of the atrium, and Proctor stopped. He told Roberts he knew she was the one for him and then got down on one knee.

He proposed with a diamond and sapphire ring.
