The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Ormond Beach residents Wednesday after receiving a tip about a meth lab.

Deputies arrested Allyson Soine, 28, and Dominick Lasasso, 40, and charged each with trafficking methamphetamine, as well as the manufacture of methamphetamine.

The Sheriff's Office received a tip people were using a garage on the 1500 Block of Carmen Avenue, in Daytona Beach, to cook meth using the "one-pot" method. The one-pot method is a simple but dangerous way to manufacture the drug, the Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies recovered 99 grams of meth oil, bottles, chemicals and drug paraphernalia in the garage. Meth oil is "an unrefined version of the finished product and sells for about $100 a gram," the Sheriff's Office said.

After raiding the home and interviewing the people there, law enforcement arrested Soine and Lasasso, who told deputies they were just visiting.
