The ‘Pride’ of Ormond Beach
The Ormond Beach Pride youth football team was brought to the front of board chambers for a photo at the Jan. 8 Ormond Beach City Commission meeting, where the players were recognized for their fourth-place finish in the American Youth Football national tournament.
Hoop shoot standouts
Adriana Bertolami, Mac Chiumento and Samantha Roberts advanced to the district Hoop Shoot Tournament in Sanford Jan. 5, where they all finished in the top three in their respective age groups, after winning the local competitions in December.
Adriana (8-9 years old) and Samantha (10-11 years old) finished in second place, and Mac (8-9 years old) finished in third place.
