Sidelines: Seabreeze Unified competes in Summer State Games

The Sandcrabs competed in several sports, including cycling, track, shot put, tennis and bocce.

Seabreeze High School's unified sports teams competed in Summer State Games at the ESPN Wide World of Sports on May 18-19 in Orlando. The Sandcrabs competed in several sports, including cycling, track, shot put, tennis and bocce.

Here are the results:

Isaac Morden and Zachary Emerson won gold the 10K cycling event and finished with the silver medal in the 5K competition. Casey Brock and Bailey McQuarrie won gold in cycling in both the 5K and 2K. Mathew Mundy and Jonas Linares earned silver in unified tennis doubles. Cana Bear and Daja Williams earned silver in the unified tennis doubles. tennia Collins earned the silver medal in the 100-meter run and the shot put. Collins, Jasmine Taylor, Isabel McLin and Alauna Neely won gold in the 4x100-meter relay. And Deanna Boylan and Isabaella Saucedo earned silver in bocce ball.
