Mainland's Adam Rosenberg and Father Lopez's Nick Restuccia commit to colleges; softball tryouts open; and, golf scores.

Mainland’s Adam Rosenberg will officially sign to play baseball at Ave' Maria University during a signing ceremony April 19, at Mainland High School.
Father Lopez’s Nick Restuccia committed to Gannon University for baseball, where he’ll join current teammate Tommy Roache.
To date, five Green Wave baseball players have committed or signed with colleges, including Restuccia, Roache, Ian Farrell (Sr.) to University of South Carolina, Upstate, Evan Miranda (Jr.) to Bethune-Cookman University and Joe Skinner (Fr.) to the University of Central Florida.
Play Ball: Lady Renegades tryouts
The Ormond Beach Lady Renegades Fast Pitch Softball league will hold tryouts for its high school team 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex.

The Riviera Country Club held its Pro-Am April 12. The winners are listed as follows:
Low Pro: Steve Roberts 71
Low Net: Brian Carroll and Tom Jones (tie) 67
1st: Tim Foli, Jim Baliker, Sam Bass and Clif Gee 122; 2nd: Doug Powell, Mike Janis, Dave Krupski and Bob Varin 124.
Two Riviera Country Club members played in the Florida Women's Senior Amateur Tournament April 8 and 9, in Bonita Springs. Linda McMillan shot 78 and 78 (156) to tie for 4th place, and Janice Wilson shot 79 and 81 (160) to finish in 10th.
Bonnie Parrish finished the 2-day Tomoka Oaks 9-Hole Ladies Championship April 11, with a 107 total to become the new Club Champion. Priscilla Warner shot a net 76 to win the Net Division.
OBYBSA Softball box score
