Six-acre, riverfront estate gets $1.8 million

A home on the Tomoka River was the top real estate transaction in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea for the week of Feb. 13-19 in the Multiple Listing Service. Bert Morrow, of Ormond Beach, sold 427 Pine Bluff Trail to James Olson, of Ormond Beach, for $1.8 million. Built in 1978, the house is a 4/4/2 and has three fireplaces, a swimming pool, boat dock, boathouse, guest house and 5,614 square feet. Following is a partial list of the week’s other sales.

Ormond Beach

Laura MacCuaig and Jean Grenon, of Ontario, Canada, sold 238 S. Wedgewood Circle to Randall and Karen Henthorn, of Fleming, Ohio, for $600,000. Built in 1996, the house is a 3/2 and has a swimming pool and 1,890 square feet. It sold in 2014 for $305,000.

Nickolas and Donna Ballas, of Jacksonville, sold 1875 Old Tomoka Road to Darryel and Beate Johnson, of Ormond Beach, for $599,000. Built in 1980, the house is a 4/2.5 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,708 square feet.

Lori Rhynard-Gassett sold 185 Grove St. to Valerie and Richard Aaron, of Reston, Virginia, for $380,000. Built in 1975, the house is a 4/2 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 1,520 square feet.

Kevin Wakefield, of Ormond Beach, sold 72 Hernandez Ave. to Joseph and Julie Mazzuca, of Reddick, for $339,900. Built in 1955, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,325 square feet.

Pamela and Lamont Nooner sold 229 Benjamin Drive to Hugh Coleman, of Daytona Beach, for $334,873. Built in 1976, the house is a 2/2 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 1,374 square feet.

Amanda Shroyer and Rachael Shroyer, of Hayesville, North Carolina, sold 61 Bella Vita Way to Laura Peters, of Ormond Beach, for $266,100. Built in 2019, the townhouse is a 3/2.5 and has 1,736 square feet. It sold in 2020 for $303,000.

Mark and Cathy Goldberg, of Ormond Beach, sold 5 Fair Oaks Circle to Randy and Diana Eder, of Daytona Beach, for $210,999. Built in 1979, the house is a 2/2.5 and has a fireplace and 1,339 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $128,000.

OP SPE TPA1 LLC, of Chandler, Arizona, sold 1817 Cherry Laurel Drive to Hillpointe Construction LLC, of Ormond Beach, for $299,900. Built in 2006, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,411 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $198,000.

OG Homes Sales LLC, of Port Orange, sold 225 S. Ridgewood Ave. to Yahya Yayoglu, of Ormond Beach, for $292,000. Built in 1952, the house is a 3/2.5 and has 1,244 square feet. It sold in 2021 for $181,000.

Harrison and Mary Waithaka, of Daytona Beach, sold 3 Woodgate Court to Ella Skolnick, of Ormond Beach, for $198,900. Built in 1983, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,780 square feet.

Halifax Plantation

Tanina and Nicholas Gerogiannis sold 3324 Westmeath Drive to Steven Vasseur, of Ormond Beach, for $535,000. Built in 2017, the house is a 4/2.5 and has 2,724 square feet. It sold in 2021 for $450,000.

Hunter’s Ridge

Karen Rankin, of Ormond Beach, sold 25 Canterbury Woods to Garrett and Kailee Morgan, of Ormond Beach, for $525,000. Built in 2003, the house is a 4/3 and has a swimming pool and 2,251 square feet.

Kings Crossing

Miguel Abi-Hassan, of Orlando, sold 6 Kingsgate Court to Jeffrey Thornton, of Ormond Beach, for $475,000. Built in 2000, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,021 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $250,000.

Misners Branch

Joseph Birtley, of Morganton, North Carolina, sold 53 Misners Trail to Sybyl Cohen, of Ormond Beach, for $275,000. Built in 1988, the house is a 2/2.5 and has 1,405 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $135,000.

Northbrook

Lisa Fusco sold 952 Northbrook Drive to Daniel and Erin Swartzendruber, of Grass Valley, California, for $360,000. Built in 1978, the house is a 3/2 and has a fireplace and 1,784 square feet. It sold in 2012 for $150,000.

Plantation Bay

Joseph and Nancy Mannix, individually and as trustees, sold 1413 Sunningdale Lane to Francis Getto Jr., as trustee, for $360,990. Built in 2003, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,615 square feet.

Saddlers Run

Helen Plakotos, of Ormond Beach, sold 10 Sounders Trail Circle to Viktorija Popovska and Stefan Atanasov, of Ormond Beach, for $290,000. Built in 1998, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,672 square feet.

Sawtooth

Cynthia Moriczdetesco, of Ormond Beach, sold 112 Sawtooth Lane to Tanina and Nicholas Gerogiannis, of Ormond Beach, for $429,000. Built in 1983, the house is a 3/2.5 and has a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,186 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $237,500.

Springleaf

Gary and Karen Ostrowski, of Ormond Beach, sold 1441 Springleaf Drive to Roderick and Sheila Gammon, of Ormond Beach, for $339,900. Built in 2016, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,582 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $201,000.

The Trails

Donna Gates, of Ormond Beach, sold 4 Stone Quarry Trail to Carlton White II and Cortney White, of Ormond Beach, for $316,000. Built in 1978, the house is a 3/2.5 and has a fireplace and 2,063 square feet.

Woodmere

Brian and Erin Teeters, of Ormond Beach, sold 72 Merrywood Circle to Ellen Barker, of Ormond Beach, for $357,000. Built in 1967, the house is a 3/2 and has 1,516 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $219,000.

Ormond-by-the-Sea

Timothy and Sharon Mason, of Alexandria, Pennsylvania, sold 2750 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 16, to Michael Riney, of Louisville, Kentucky, for $309,900. Built in 1973, the condo is a 2/2 and has 1,184 square feet.

Kristin Gillis, of Ormond Beach, and Teresa Ward, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, sold 45 River Drive to Alexander Davakis, of Ormond Beach, for $305,000. Built in 1952, the house is a 2/2 and has 854 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $205,000.

Denise Black, of Richmond, Kentucky, sold 37 Brooks Drive to Linda Shiska and John Byrnes III, of Ormond Beach, for $290,000. Built in 1951, the house is a 2/1.5 and has 818 square feet. It sold in 2013 for $92,000.
