Jason Studnick, a retired economist, is a former World Champion Mr. Kisser.
Now that he has officially retired, Jason Studnick has decided to get back to his one true passion in life: kissing.
A retired economist, Studnick has won numerous awards for his puckering prowess. He was the 1990, 1991 and 1992 Pennsylvania Kisser of the Year, and then the National Mr. Kiss in 1993 and World Champion Mr. Kisser in 1994. He stopped his run the following year because, as he put it, “My lips got tired.”
But now that he has retired, Studnick has set up a kissing booth at the Nova Community Center. Prices vary, depending on how long the line is.
“If there are too many people in line, I increase the price,” he said in an exclusive interview with the Ormond Beach Observer. “It’s simple supply and demand.”
On days when his beard is prickly, Studnick says, he usually offers a discount.
One customer said, “I paid for peck on the cheek. But I couldn’t resist, and I upgraded to a peck on the lips.”
