The times, they are a-changin’ for St. James Episcopal Church and School’s Holiday Bridge 5K Run.
In its fifth year, the run will feature a Pancake Breakfast and Winter Wonderland this time around. The breakfast is $5 to guests, $12 for families, free to runners, and the wonderland will feature snow, an obstacle course, games, face-painting and more.
The breakfast starts at 8:30 a.m.

Beginning at St. James, 44 S. Halifax Drive, the run will wind along the Halifax River, through Fortunato Park and over the Granada Blvd. bridge. All proceeds will benefit church initiatives, such as the Koutiala Women and Children’s Hospital, in Mali; the Jesus Clinic; Halifax Urban Ministries and Family Renew.
To date, more than $35,000 has been raised through this event.
Proceeds from the pancake breakfast will support St. James School.
