Tomoka United Methodist: On your mark, get set ... egg hunt!

The congregation at Tomoka United Methodist Church hosted a hunting 'egg-stravaganza'Saturday, March 23.

Call it a little 'egg-centric,' but Tomoka United Methodist Church, at 1000 Old Tomoka Road, couldn't wait all the way until Easter Sunday to hold its first egg hunt.

So, parents and their children, 10 years and younger, got hunting this weekend, March 23, in two separate events hosted on the church's grounds.

Before heading out into the playground, where eggs would be found next to slides and under benches, there was time for crafts, snacks and Easter-themed games. Plus, Pastor Kandace Brooks read the children the Easter story in the sanctuary.
