Top 10 real estate sales for 2013

Following are the top 10 residential sales in Ormond Beach throughout 2013, as of mid-December. The information is from the Volusia County Property Appraiser’s website, and only houses listed in the Multiple Listing Service are included.

1. 890 John Anderson Drive, on the Halifax River, sold for $2 million on Sept. 18. It has five bedrooms, five baths, a fireplace, summer kitchen with grill, dumbwaiter, elevator, boat house, boat dock, boat lift, swimming pool, sea wall and 6,805 square feet. This was the first qualified sale.

2. 95 Ocean Shore Blvd., an oceanfront home, sold for $1.5 million on Oct. 22. It has three bedrooms, four baths, a seawall, detached apartment, swimming pool, wooden deck and 2,671 square feet. It has appeared in many architectural magazines. This was the first qualified sale.

3. 585 Ocean Shore Blvd., an oceanfront home, sold for $1,200,100 million in September. It has three bedrooms, five baths, a fireplace, three-car garage, wooden deck and 6,557 square feet. It sold in 2006 for $3,175,000.

4. 2124 John Anderson Drive in Ormond-by-the-Sea, on the Halifax River, sold for $1,175,000 on April 1. It has three bedrooms, four baths, a fireplace, summer kitchen with grill, guest house, sea wall, boat dock, boat lift, barbeque and 5,364 square feet. This was the first qualified sale.

5. 520 John Anderson Drive, on the Halifax River, sold for $1,050,000 on April 1. It

has three bedrooms, three baths, two fireplaces, a seawall and 2,635 square feet. This was the first qualified sale.

6. 658 John Anderson Drive sold for $930,000 on Oct. 8. It has four bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace, swimming pool, boat house, boat dock, boat lift and 3,202 square feet. This was the first qualified sale.

7. 2001 N. Beach St. sold for $909,100 on June 14. It has four bedrooms, four baths, a fireplace, boat dock, swimming pool and 3,366 square feet. This was the first qualified sale.

8. 135 Riverside Drive sold for $848,000 on Oct. 21. It has five bedrooms, five baths, a swimming pool and 4,160 square feet.

9. 2189 Old Dixie Highway sold for $845,000 on June 28. It has four bedrooms, six baths, a fireplace, boat dock, boat lift, swimming pool and 4,199 square feet. This was the first qualified sale.

10. 123 Neptune Ave. sold for $831,500 on June 11. It has four bedrooms, five baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 3,824 square feet. It sold in 2009 for $242,500.
