Top seller features pool, boat dock

A house on the Halifax River was the top real estate transaction in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea from Sept. 15-21 in the MLS. Milton Douglass and Lisa Gironard, of San Jose, California, sold 687 N. Beach St. to Charles and Victoria Schlegel, of Ormond Beach, for $1,690,000. Built in 1984, the house has four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, two fireplaces, a swimming pool, boat dock, boat house and 4,661 square feet. It sold in 1997 for $800,000. Following is a partial list of the week’s other sales.

Ormond Beach

James Ricks Jr. and Amy Pantages, of Fort Myers, sold 341 Greenwood Ave. to Harry Heilman, of Ormond Beach, for $350,000. Built in 1970, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace, swimming pool, boat house and 1,558 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $185,000.

Idris and Barbara Cole sold 1051 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 1202, to David and Melissa Cerveny, as trustees, for $315,000. Built in 1982, the condo has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,200 square feet. It sold in 1994 for $137,000.

Michael Lira, of Port Orange, sold 752 N. Beach St. to Melissa LaGreca, of Daytona Beach, for $277,000. Built in 1973, the house has five bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace and 2,266 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $216,000.

Justin Willis, of Ormond Beach, and Brittany Willis, of Altamonte Springs, sold 27 Brookwood Drive to Jessica Huckaby, of Ormond Beach, for $223,000. Built in 1971, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,484 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $162,000.

Roger Luddeni and Frances Powell, of Ormond Beach, sold 69 Plaza Grande Ave. to Lisa Edwards, of Ormond Beach, for $239,500. Built in 1951, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 1,560 square feet. It sold in 2005 for $213,000.

Nancy Snowden, of Ormond Beach, sold 3 Riverdale Ave. to Jim Graham and Lisa Adams, of Ormond Beach, for $220,000. Built in 1973, the house has four bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,808 square feet. It sold in 1979 for $65,000.

Michael Petrick sold 9 Tara Place to Miguel Ballesteros, of Ormond Beach, for $215,000. Built in 1985, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,319 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $171,500.

MMTHH Investments Inc., of Ormond Beach, sold 713 Garden Lane to Charlotte Julian, of Ormond Beach, for $212,500. Built in 2019, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,305 square feet.

Florida Properties Group Inc., of Broward County, sold 108 Mcalister Drive to Joseph Spizzirri, of Daytona Beach, for $118,000. Built in 1955, the house has two bedrooms, one bath and 896 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $78,000.

Breakaway Trails

Arthur and Bonnie Maguire, of Asheville, North Carolina, sold 65 Creek Bluff Way to Walter and Debra Reichard, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, for $325,000. Built in 1999, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 1,968 square feet.

Tomoka Oaks

Michael Wolff, of Indialantic, sold 210 River Bluff Drive to Joseph Martingano Jr., of Ormond Beach, for $375,000. Built in 1980, the house has three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a fireplace and 2,419 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $244,000.

Trails North 40

Nancy Scherr, of Madison, Wisconsin, sold 38 Big Buck Trail to Mary Lou Desimone, as trustee, for $275,000. Built in 2000, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,217 square feet.

Ormond-by-the-Sea

Cynthia Alencewicz, individually and as trustee, sold 1212 Riverbreeze Blvd. to Robert and Denise Williams, of Ormond Beach, for $193,500. Built in 1956, the house has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,002 square feet.

Dennis Jakovac and Mary Jo Eisenberg-Jakovac, of St. Louis, Missouri, sold 1254 Riverbreeze Blvd. to Mark and Giselle Nearman, of Ormond Beach, for $180,000. Built in 1958, the house has two bedrooms, 1.5 baths and 1,126 square feet. It sold in 2000 for $76,500.
