Thanks to a donation from Florida Hospital HospiceCare and the Wells-Fargo Foundation, all military veterans will have free access to art education programs and experiences at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens throughout 2019. A press release did not include the amount of the donation.

“Enjoying art and developing creative outlets can provide a venue to transform lives and offer veterans in our community an opportunity to improve attention spans, memory and social skills,” said Rema Cole, administrative director for Florida Hospital HospiceCare.

Veterans must show one of the following: military ID card, V.A. Health Care card, DD 214 or driver's license with veteran designation. Veterans must visit the museum with the identification to register and after that can make a reservation with a phone call. Call 676-3347.
