For the fourth consecutive year, the Villari's Martial Arts school participated in the 2017 International Coastal Cleanup event in conjunction with Ocean Conservancy to help keep local beaches clean for people and wildlife alike.

"It's important for people on the beach to use the trash receptacles," said Villari's Chief Instructor David Grabner in an email. "Wildlife such as birds and turtles mistake some trash for food or get trapped putting their life at risk."

The cleanup effort was the first school gathering since Hurricane Irma impacted Florida and Grabner said it was "great" to get out and help the community.
