The Ormond Beach Historical Society's second-annual Virtual Tour of Homes has been extended through Jan. 9.

The annual Tour of Homes, held in a video-format since 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, is usually the Historical Society's biggest fundraiser. This year's tour, according to the OBHS website, features six Ormond Beach area homes, at dusk, and decorated for the holidays. The homes range from as old as 1897 to as modern as 2018, with an "eclectic mix of design styles," and as small as 400 square feet all the way up to 14,000 square feet in size.

Among the featured homes is the Nathan Cobb Cottage on Orchard Lane, which was built from the 1897 Nathan F. Cobb shipwreck. The house is preserved and owned by the Ormond Beach Historical Society.

Also featured is the 1904 "Sunpatch" cottage, with its dual fireplaces and original details, as well as the Rowallan home, which was built in the same era and at one points, its owners entertained John. D. Rockefeller within its walls.
