In anticipation of increased traffic during the Wings and Waves event in Daytona Beach, Votran scheduling will be tweaked.

The Volusia County transportation system, Votran, will see changes to its bus routes Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 13 and 14, in anticipation of increased traffic due to the Wings and Waves Air Show event in Daytona Beach.
A breakdown of the changes are listed as follows:
Daytime routes
- Route 1: Regular service except buses will not enter the Intermodal Transfer Facility (ITF).
- Route 8: Regular service except buses will not go to the ITF. If traffic is too heavy on International Speedway Boulevard, buses will use Beach Street to Main Street, then north on Halifax Avenue. Reverse routing on the inbound trips.
- Route 17A/B: Will use International Speedway Boulevard instead of Main Street on outbound trips. If International Speedway Boulevard becomes too heavy, buses may use Orange Avenue.
- Route 18, Inbound: Will turn right on University Boulevard from S.R. A1A, left on Halifax Avenue, right on Seabreeze Boulevard to Mason Avenue, left on U.S. 1, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard.
- Route 19, Outbound: From Transfer Plaza, left on Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, right on U.S. 1, right on Mason Avenue to Oakridge Boulevard, left on Halifax Avenue, right on University Boulevard, left on S.R. A1A.
Night and Sunday service
Instead of using the Intermodal Transfer Facility, all buses Oct. 13 and 14 will use the Transfer Plaza.
- Route 1: Will use International Speedway Boulevard and go north on S.R. A1A to Bovard Avenue/ S.R. A1A.
- Route 3: Will use Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to north on U.S. 1. Reverse routing on the inbound trip.
- Route 4: Will use Palmetto Avenue to west on Bay Street and south on U.S. 1. Reverse routing on the inbound trip.
- Route 10: Will use Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to north on Beach Street and west on Fairview Avenue. Reverse routing on the inbound trip.
- Route 15: Will use Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard to south on Beach Street to regular routing. Reverse routing on the inbound trip.
- Route 17: Will use International Speedway Boulevard to south on S.R. A1A. Reverse routing on the inbound trip.
