Shelter at the Ocean Center

Volusia County Government, in cooperation with the American Red Cross, will open a shelter at the Ocean Center, Daytona Beach, at 10 a.m. Saturday for people who were impacted by Hurricane Ian.

The shelter will accept all residents, including special needs patients. Special needs patients may be accompanied by one caregiver. The Florida Department of Health in Volusia County will provide care for special needs patients. Patients should bring their medications, medical supplies and equipment.

County parks

All county parks and trails are closed until further notice because of debris and downed trees.
