Ormond Beach Farmer's Market 

8 a.m. to 1 pm. at City Hall. Fresh produce, baked goods, honey, flowers, thai cuisine, meat, jewelry, art and live entertainment. 

FRIDAY, FEB. 26

“Steadfast” Movie Screening

7 p.m. at Tomoka Christian Church. Free. Filmed in Volusia County. Live performance before the movie. For ages 12 and up. Dinner available at for $5 at 6 p.m. Movie deals with issues such as bullying, purity, cutting and substance abuse. Visit steadfastthemovie.com.

ABC Safe Boating Course

9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Halifax River Yacht Club, 346 S. Beach St., Daytona Beach. This two day course, held again Mar. 5, is the standard for new or experienced boaters. Cost is $40 per person or $60 for couples. Call 453-4358.

10 a.m. to noon at Ormond Beach Memorial Art Museum. Bring anything that you have been working on, your art supplies and your questions. Some supplies (including paints, collage papers, scissors, glue) from the museum classroom will be available for you to use. Kandy will not be teaching a specific project, but will be available in this free-form class. Open to participants 16 and older. Cost is $25 for members and $28 nonmembers. Call 676-3347.

Brotherhood Breakfast: Jewish Humor On Your Desktop

7 p.m. at Florida Hospital Oceanside, 264 S. Atlantic Ave. Every Tuesday. This free support group is open to anyone with the desire to quit smoking or stay smoke free. Reservations are not required.

Ormond Beach Garden Club
