The Flagler Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution presented Deputy Sgt. Phillip Reynolds, of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, with its 2012 SAR Law Enforcement Award.

Since joining the Sheriff's Office in June 2000, Reynolds has worked diligently throughout the years to serve the citizens of Flagler County as a deputy and has received numerous commendations along the way.

Sheriff Don Fleming, who was at the presentation, remarked that Reynolds has a team player mentality and has an outstanding can-do attitude.

Any task assigned to Reynolds has been completed quickly and thoroughly, Fleming said. As a result of his ability to lead his squad, Reynolds was promoted to the rank of sergeant in August 2011.

Reynolds is currently assigned as the District 2 Supervisor for Charles Squad.
