Students at Palm Harbor Academy were exposed to a myriad of words Friday, Sept. 21, as they wore hats decorated to represent robust vocabulary words.

The schoolwide Vo'CAP'ulary Day was a celebration of the power of language. Every student chose a new vocabulary word and created a hat that describes their specific word through creative interpretation.

“This lets them have a love for words — vathe word comes alive for them,” said principal Esther Hamilton.
