A few Flagler Beach Ocean Rescue lifeguards got a break from the norm this week as they coached the Flagler Beach Junior Lifeguard Surf and Kayak Camp. The camp, which is in its second session, aims to introduce participants to the sports of surfing and kayaking in an ocean environment.

There are two sessions of Junior Lifeguard camp left, the first to be held July 29 to Aug. 2 and also Surf and Kayak Camp to be held Aug. 5-9.
