The delayed Arbor Day celebration hosted by the city of Palm Coast packed Central Park at Town Center Saturday, May 18. The celebration was rescheduled from the May 4 rainout.

The event kicked off with a 5K, part of the Palm Coast Race Series, and then went into the main event: Feed a Mouth, Get a Tree, Grow a Community, in which attendees could exchange canned food or pet food items for a free three-gallon native hardwood tree.
