The Art and Soul Studio is bringing out the dye and the shirts Sunday to host an event to raise money for Taking Focus, a local nonprofit organization that raises money and support for those in need in Flagler County.

For $10, guests can tie-dye one shirt using supplied dye in a variety of bright, summer colors. Pottery- and

mosaic-making will also be available to benefit Taking Focus.

Shirts will be available from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Art and Soul Studio at 25 Pine Cone Drive, in Palm Coast.

 

Habitat work day

Flagler Habitat for Humanity is holding a landscaping and sod work day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 8 Squirrel Lane, in Palm Coast. Call 586-6180.

 

Dinner and a show

Local resident Kenyon Dye will sing and play keyboards, horns and flute at a musical dinner show at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Portuguese American Cultural Center at 1200 Palm Harbor Parkway. Three other vocalists will be featured, as well: Robin Sullivan, Viviana Carey and Tom Kavanaugh. Tickets are $50 each, and proceeds benefit hospice. Call 445-7556.
