Why go door to door if you can trunk-or-treat at Christ Presbyterian Church? Local kids donned their coolest costumes Sunday, for treats.

The Fall Festival at Christ Presbyterian Church, 1055 W. Granada Blvd., was the place for ghosts and goblins Oct. 27, as local kids took part in a Trunk or Treat, where they got candy from cars in the parking lot. There were also carnival games. It was the second year for the festival, which also included a bounce house and a chili cook-off.

Last year, about 400 people attended.

“Trunk or Treat is a safe replacement for going door to door,” said church office manager Peg Harper. “We have the festival just to get the community together and have some fun.”
