A sign on the side of the former Books-A-Million store in the Target shopping center on State Road 100 indicates that employment options are available with Ulta, a cosmetics store that has been rumored to be looking at Palm Coast for about a year.

And, according to Cindi Lane, communications manager for the city of Palm Coast, the plan for Ulta, at 5220 State Road 100, has been submitted. It includes 10,030 square feet of the former Books-A-Million store.

Included in the plan is a 1,050-square-foot salon.

In total, Ulta will inhabit 67% of the store, which is 14,934 square feet total. “It appears that exterior façade changes are now also a part of the project,” Lane wrote via email.

The Florida Bar announced that the Florida Supreme Court in recent court orders disciplined 24 attorneys; disbarring four, revoking the licenses of three, suspending 16 and publicly reprimanding one. Two attorneys received more than one form of discipline. Two were placed on probation and one was also ordered to pay restitution.

Charles A. Esposito, of Palm Coast, was among those reprimanded. An attorney since 1992, he was suspended for 30 days, effective 30 days from a June 6 court order.

In seven separate cases, according to a press release from the Florida Bar, Esposito was retained to represent clients, and he failed to adequately communicate.
