Nature Scapes celebrated its 30th-annual winter party Saturday, Dec. 6.

“Thirty years is a milestone achievement for any business,” said owner Chris Baiata.

The all-day event included seminars on organic vegetable gardening and how to survive the holidays as well as live music by Alana Fitzgerald and Mike Fitzgerald, as well as Dr. Cash Trio. The afternoon ended with a seminar on Tropical Birds by Dr. Trudy Tappen and Kathy Clark, featuring the bird sanctuary dedicated in honor of the late Mary Lou Baiata.

The celebration continued into the night with the Salvo Art Project’s opening of its small works show.
