On Dec. 2, Florida Hospital Flagler celebrated the lighting of its Light of Love tree, which honors and remembers loved ones within the community.

Approximately 200 community members joined Florida Hospital Flagler for its 25th-annual Light of Love celebration at the hospital’s south entrance. Vinnie Cautero and the Flagler Palm Coast High School Chorus provided this year’s entertainment, along with a visit from Santa Claus.

Florida Hospital Flagler’s 20-foot Christmas tree is lit by 1,000 tiny lights that represent loved ones, remembered and honored during the holiday season. For a $5 donation, community members write the name of a loved one in a Light of Love book that is on display throughout the holiday season.

This project raised $3,500 this year, which will ultimately go to helping our patients coming through the hospital.
