Food Brings Hope, a charity that helps provide needy families with food for their children, got some extra exposure during the Daytona races.

The charity, which focuses its efforts on children in local schools, had its logo displayed on the No. 99 ICI Homes / Bell Trucks America Chevrolet driven by Bryan Silas from the T3R2 Race Team.

"From the bottom of our hearts, we thank Bryan Silas, his father Billy and his entire T3R2 racing team for bringing national awareness to our mission of eradicating child hunger by placing the Food Brings Hope logo on their No. 99 Truck at the NASCAR race Friday night," said FBH Founder and Chairman Forough Hosseini, in a press release.

Hosseini is also an Ormond Beach resident and the executive vice president of information systems for ICI Homes. The truck was driven in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series NextEra Energy Resources 250.

"NASCAR is a competitive sport," Hosseini said. "Teams compete for track position, titles and sponsorship dollars.  Yet, I continue to be amazed by how community-minded the NASCAR family is at every level. It's wonderful to see these celebrity athletes giving back to their communities, and we're grateful to have Bryan Silas on our team, which is racing to end childhood hunger in our community."
