Students at Tomoka Elementary got to dress up like their favorite super heroes after raising $16,000.
The students at Tomoka Elementary were their own super heroes this week.
During their annual Walk-A-Thon fundraiser April 10-11, the students and Parent Teacher Association members raised $16,000. The total amount raised was $4,000 over their original goal.
Because of their success, the school held Super Hero Day on June 2 so kids and teachers could dress up like their favorite super heroes.
