OUR TOWN: Bear seen wandering through The Trails

Trails resident Ed Kelly captured a photo of a baby black bear on River Ridge Trail. 

It's not just the residents that are taking advantage of The Trails' shady pathways.

A baby black bear has been spotted near Rio Pinar Trail, Iroquois Trail and Navajo Trail. It was last seen by resident Ed Kelly off River Ridge Trail.

Property Manager Brandi Hayes called authorities but said they can do nothing about the bear since it has not posed a threat to anyone.
