The Flagler/Palm Coast Kiwanis Club recognized Olivia Jacques and Ryan Peeling as the February Seniors of the Month from Matanzas and Flagler Palm Coast high schools, at their regular meeting at the Ichiban Buffet Restaurant.

Futuer Business leaders to host car, truck and motorcycle show
The Future Business Leaders of America club at Flagler Palm Coast High School is hosting its fourh-annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show Saturday, March 8.

The event will be held at the school. FBLA is hosting this fundraising event to provide scholarships and to attend leadership conferences for the members. The registration fee is $15 to participate. A $5 discount applies for advanced registration.

Congrats to St. Elizabeth speech winners!
Students at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School participated in the Modern Woodmen of America speech contest Friday, Feb. 28. Out of 12 finalists, the winners for the uper-level grade category were first place Robert Oglesby, second place Enrica Dinopol and third place Jane Ward.

Anthony Joseph Marotta, of Palm Coast, was named to the Dean's List at Norwich University for the fall 2013 semester.

Flagler Palm Coast High School student Matthew Chumaceiro recently accepted an appointment to the US Air Force Academy.

Seven Daytona State College students have been named to the Florida College System’s 2014 All-Florida Academic Team. Nicholas Boyce, of Flagler Beach and Jill Knazur, of Palm Coast, are on the team.
