PALM COAST-- Trevin Gibson and Angel Brown were crowned Mr. and Miss Matanzas 2014-15 Wednesday, March 12.

The competition, which is put on by the school’s DECCA program, is open to juniors and this year focused on being a voice for the youth of Flagler County.

Gibson is involved in the sports medicine program at the school and is the FFA student adviser. Brown is involved in the dance and choral program.

Other participants in the contest were as follows: Hazel Vazquez, Brianna Doonan, Julian Weisberg, Margaux Williamson, Stefano Shibeci, Kenzie Forgie and Joanette Gonzalez.
