House on Riverside Drive sells for $500,000

The top real estate transaction for the week of April 6-12 was a house known as Grand Oaks Estate, located in a historic area near The Casements. John Zak III and Kathleen Doughney, of Ormond Beach, sold 87 Riverside Drive to Christine Schimenti, and Todd Berlanti, trustee, of Ormond Beach, for $500,000. Built in 1936, the house has a guest cottage, five bedrooms, five baths, two fireplaces, a swimming pool and 6,342 square feet. It sold in 1994 for $287,000.

ORMOND BEACH

Brenda Brush, of Ormond Beach, sold 887 Lindenwood Circle to Mark and Patricia Davy, of Ormond Beach, for $174,000. Built in 1977, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 1,787 square feet. It sold in 1990 for $85,500.

Barbara Cudney, of Ormond Beach, sold 461 Harbour Lights Drive to Marshall and Sandra Pouncey, of Ormond Beach, for $160,000. Built in 2002, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,680 square feet. The lot sold in 2001 for $30,000.

William and Linda Ellis, individually and as trustees, sold 504 Sandy Oaks Blvd. to Angela Reib, of Ormond Beach, for $121,000. Built in 1980, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,500 square feet. It sold in 1988 for $75,000.

Colleen Carrozza and Kelly Lowe, co-trustees, of Ormond Beach, sold 19 Oakwood Park to Emma Winstead, of Gainesville, for $101,000. Built in 1984, the house has three bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace and 1,496 square feet. It sold in 2012 for $65,000.

TD Bank sold 213 Arborvue Trail to Dexter Homes LLC, of Ormond Beach, for $100,000. Built in 1999, the house has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,355 square feet. It sold in 2007 for $188,500.

Jeffrey Simon, of St. Charles, Missouri, sold 633 Flamingo Drive, Unit A, to Agnes Jackson, and Gary and Joyce Jackson, of Ormond Beach, for $85,000. Built in 1947, the house has two bedrooms, one bath and 448 square feet. It sold in 2005 for $105,000.

Kurt and Sandra Kreutz, and Erich and Karen Sahm, of Ormond Beach, sold 55 Vining Court, No. 221, to Richard and Stephanie Schwarz, and Alezandrea Schwarz, of Ormond Beach, for $57,500. Built in 1973, the condo has two bedrooms, two baths and 930 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $53,000.

Breakaway Trails

Heidi and Nathan Neal, of Volusia County, sold 5 Creek Branch Way to Stacy Alexander and Lovisa Alexander, of Ormond Beach, for $265,000. Built in 2000, the house has four bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,790 square feet. It sold in 2000 for $230,000.

Hunters Ridge

Wendy Prescott, of Ormond Beach, sold 6 Sundrop Watch to Matthew and Kimberly Shapiro, of Ormond Beach, for $260,000. Built in 1995, the house has three bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace and 2,233 square feet. It sold in 1995 for $38,600.

Oak Forest

Anthony and Kathleen Lewis, of Ormond Beach, sold 10 Mary Ann Terrace to Brookfield Relocation Inc., of Scottsdale, Arizona, for $154,500. Built in 1980, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,773 square feet. It sold in 2010 for $134,000.

Plantation Bay

Mary Driscoll, of Ormond Beach, sold 1135 Hansberry Court to Robert Haligowski, of Delray Beach, for $141,000. Built in 2005, the house has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,308 square feet. It sold in 2005 for $149,900.

ORMOND-BY-THE-SEA

Anne Haynes and Harry Bornt, of Cocoa Beach, sold 1712 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 1, to Jay and Margaret McBride, of Ormond Beach, for $247,000. Built in 1980, the townhouse has two bedrooms, three baths and 1,460 square feet. It sold in 1995 for $81,000.

Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp., of McLean, Virginia, sold 125 Imperial Heights to Michael Lesage, of Ormond Beach, for $159,900. Built in 1970, the house has two bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 1,902 square feet. It sold in 2000 for $132,000.

Mack Rentals LLC, of Longwood, sold 155 Roberta Road to Arnold Hilton and Rose McCaskill, of Ormond Beach, for $135,000. Built in 1955, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,416 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $81,500.
