Biz Buzz: James Bradley gets honored for his donations at hot dog stand

For 17 years, those who traveled down Palm Coast Parkway have had the privilege of pulling over in the Sears parking lot and enjoying a hot dog, maybe some chips and a cold drink at Jim Bradley's hot dog stand. And in the midst of providing the community with refreshments, he also take donations for various groups, including the American Legion Post 115, of which he's a member.

As a token of the group's appreciation for the $7,000 plus that he has donated, First Vice Commander Dave Hammond presented Bradley with a certificate of appreciation and a badge to commemorate his efforts to provide for the group.

Bradley, who has never taken a single tip, credited the community who has given the tips over the years to help the groups he supports. With the support his donations provide, the Legion assists with the Flagler County Boys State & Girls State Projects, Boy Scouts, Jr. ROTC and the Flagler County Veterans Support.

Since October 1998, Bradley has a donated a total of nearly $45,000 to a variety of different groups around Flagler County.
