Palm Coast welcomes new owners Tamera Mauk and Cory Rochester, of Honeygrass Studio Salon, located at 4 Office Park Drive. “We are excited to welcome our loyal clientele to our new tranquil environment in Palm Coast,” Rochester said.

With 16 years of hair salon experience in Flagler County, the duo already has a strong client base of almost 300 people.

“We are excited for this fresh start on the verge of a new year,” Mauk added. “We chose the location for convenience for our loyal patrons, and look forward to welcoming new clientele.” Mauk is a certified KeraFusion and Aquarely educator, as well as a master stylist and color specialist.

The artistic couple redecorated the studio themselves, with new wood flooring, counter tops and makeshift walls, to create a tidy, full-service salon.

“I call her ‘Tamera-Scissorhands’, she moves her hands so quickly, and gives you the best haircut of your life.” Christy Oddo, Honeygrass Studio Salon client

The beautiful 500-square-foot studio offers a variety of services such as coloring, cutting and styling.

“The cozy studio salon offers a unique advantage,” Mauk said. “The quaint space offers a more personable and social experience.”

Eventually Mauk and Rochester hope to expand to a departmental salon with additions such as a blow-dry bar, with coloring and cutting specialists.
