Ormond Beach to become home for international headquarters of Live and Learn Educational Group

World Study lntercultural Education has selected Ormond Beach as its United States headquarters for the Live and Learn Educational Group. The company will employ 30 individuals over the next three years. The company offers educational exchange services for over 5,000 Brazilian students throughout more than 30 countries around the world. 

The company selected an office at 570 Memorial Circle in Ormond Beach for their United States headquarters. Live and Learn Educational Group is currently working with the City of Ormond Beach Economic Development as they ramp up operations.

"The City of Ormond Beach appreciates the efforts of Team Volusia in facilitating the recruitment of World Study lntercultural Education and the investment made by Mr. Cansini to locate the Company's headquarters in Ormond Beach. We look forward to assisting Live and Learn Educational Group in their growth," Joe Mannarino, City of Ormond Beach Economic Development Director said.

"The company currently has 37 offices throughout Brazil and searched locations for their United States headquarters of Live and Learn Educational Group. The selection of their office location in Ormond Beach exemplifies the quality and availability of Volusia County's workforce and the attractiveness of Florida to international companies. We welcome Live and Learn Educational Group to Volusia County as they strategically grow their operations throughout the US."

The United States currently hosts nearly 1 million foreign exchange students with nearly 40,000 of them being nonimmigrant high school students. Brazil is currently ranked 10th in foreign exchange student presence in the United States and, in order to increase the number of students it brings into the United States and enhance its market penetration, Live and Learn specifically targets students and families from Brazil and other nations.

"We scouted several locations in the United States wanting to choose the best area to develop our own programs," Marcelo Cansini, national director of World Study lntercultural Education said. "We initially selected Volusia County because Team Volusia welcomed us with open arms. We also felt the opportunities we found here presented an inviting atmosphere to international students. With all the programs we offer and the connections we are establishing in America, we certainly look forward to having international students liv ing, studying and spending money in the area. The company, which just recently opened, has been trading and signing contracts with numerous schools in Volusia County as well as all over the United States of America."

The company worked with Team Volusia EDC and CareerSource Flagler Volusia during the initial site selection phase in researching office sites throughout the county and also utilized Coldwell Banker Commercial Benchmark in the selection of the new office.

World Study has an established United States presence including contracts with multiple schools, cultural institutions, and sponsors for J1 and Fl visa programs.The launch of Live and Learn Educational Group in Ormond Beach will allow World Study lntercultural Education to expand its operations, ease travel costs, further enhance its United States foreign student placement services, provide added support for students in the United States, and provide more security for parents abroad.
