Florida Hospital announces management changes

Adventist Health System, which has 44 facilities in 10 states, headquartered in Altamonte Springs, has announced key leadership changes to the Florida Division.

Daryl Tol, current president and chief executive officer of the five Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties, will become chief executive officer of the nine Florida Hospitals in the Orlando area.

Tol has lived and worked in Volusia County since 2000, first with the construction and opening of Florida Hospital Flagler as the administrator. Later, he facilitated the planning for Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach. In 2010, he was appointed chief executive officer for the five Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties

Rob Fulbright, current senior executive officer for Florida Hospital Orlando, will become the chief executive officer of the five Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties. Fulbright has been with Florida Hospital for nearly 20 years. He previously served in leadership positions at Florida Hospital locations in DeLand, Kissimmee, Winter Park and Altamonte Springs.

Organ donor activities recognized

Florida Hospital Flagler and Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center have been recognized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for conducting activities that promote enrollment in state organ donor registries.

The two hospitals actively participated in the national Workplace Partnership for Life hospital campaign and partnered with TransLife in Central Florida to educate employees and the communities about the need for organ, eye and tissue donation, according to a press release.

Veteran career fair set

CareerSource Flagler Volusia has announced Paychecks for Patriots, a special hiring fair dedicated to local veterans. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Nov. 12, at Orange City Career Center.

Veterans interested in career opportunities who are unable to attend a Paychecks for Patriots hiring event can view and apply for available positions online at employflorida.com. A special employment portal for Florida veterans is available at the site.
