The Bulow Parks Historic Alliance is hosting a litter clean up.

Held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sept. 26, National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer event for our public lands. The Bulow Parks Historic Alliance friends group is hosting a litter/general clean-up at Bulow Creek State park at theMound Grove location. Trash bags, latex gloves, bottled water and a limited supply of trash pickers will be provided. Please bring comfortable, close-toed walking shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat and work gloves. Rain or shine.

Participants please take the trail road into the park (about ¼ mile) and meet at the park bench. Parking will be available nearby near the crabbing hole area. All volunteers will sign a group volunteer application onsite prior to starting the work activity. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please call James at 793-1062 for more information or to pre-register.
