The historic house known as the Dix House was the top real estate sales transaction for the week of Jan. 24-30 in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea. 178 North Beach St. LLC, of Ormond Beach, sold 178 N. Beach St. to Charles and Rebecca Ann Ebbets, of Ormond Beach, for $1,300,000. Built in 1876, the house has five bedrooms, 5.5 baths, four fireplaces, a three-car garage, elevator, boat house, boat dock and 5,058 square feet. There is an additional house, built in 1958, with two bedrooms, two baths and 1,200 square feet. The property sold in 2007 for $725,000.
Geran and Kim Williams, of Park City, Utah, sold 105 Riverside Drive to Stephen and Carol Farmer, of Ormond Beach, for $798,000. Built in 1967, the house has five bedrooms, five baths, two fireplaces, a swimming pool and 3,988 square feet. It sold in 2012 for $500,000.
