As Flagler Baseball’s spring season concludes, some teams walk off the field as division champions, which now includes Team EZ Roofing Systems.
For Carter Fulling, pitching with younger brother, Cameron—who’s battling cancer—in the stands has inspired an undefeated record, though he clearly understands that life deals with much more important things than wins and losses.
Carter Fulling finished the season with a 7-0 pitching record and led his team to a 13-2 record, including the title.
Good Karma
In his previous 14 games played this season, Karma McDevitt only reached base three times due to a hit. In the recent championship game, he smacked a ball down the middle of the field and got to first, before eventually making it home. His hit even drew cheers from the opposing coach Chris Hansen.
