Two Port Orange businesses close their doors

The Little Gym of Port Orange and Payless say goodbye to Port Orange.

Two Port Orange businesses have recently announced their closure.

The first is The Little Gym of Port Orange, located in the Gulfstream Village Plaza at 4645 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., suite 404. It held its last day of classes on Saturday, April 13.

Owner Lauren Cowan announced the closure on The Little Gym’s Facebook page and promised to hold all regular scheduled classes and pre-booked birthday parties through the April 13 date. 

“We appreciate you all for being a part of our journey with The Little Gym, and are grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of your family’s lives," Cowan said in the Facebook post. "We apologize for any disappointment this may cause your family, but truly appreciate the kind words and understanding we have received so far.”

She encouraged all questions and concerns to be directed to her by email, [email protected].

The second business is Payless ShoeSource, located in The Pavilion at 5521 S. Williamson Blvd., suite 405. According to the Renee Milza, general manager of The Pavilion, the anticipated closure most likely take place by the end of April or May.
