Watson Realty Corp. launched its brand-new website on Dec. 20, according to a news release.

It now has a sleek, modern and responsive design to welcome users to a host of advanced features to keep them connected to every aspect of their real estate journey. The new features include: market insights, advanced search capabilities, neighborhood pages for customers to explore their desired area, buying and selling guides, home value estimators and more.

Customers have the ability to create accounts on the site to save their customized property searches, collect favorited homes, calculate drive time to and from school or work, and connect with their preferred Watson associate. The site has been engineered to respond to all devices.

“Our efforts were focused on bringing new technology and advanced capabilities to our users,” Marketing Director Dara Williams said in a release.

'Christmas Brigade' raises money for families in need

Richard J. DeCeglie and his Watson Realty “Christmas Brigade” raised $2,850 for local families in need, according to a news release.

DeCeglie and the agents he works with purchased bags of groceries, which included turkey and stuffing for a holiday dinner. In addition, they purchased and delivered toys from children’s wish lists.

HBA installs new president, executive committee and board

The Flagler Home Builders Association recently installed the 2019 president, executive committee and board of directors. President Brad Thomas, of Generation Homes, has served on the Flagler HBA board since 2009.

The executive committee includes: Vice President Scott Sowers (Cline Construction), Associate Vice President Jim Gonce (Builders First Source), Treasurer David Fowler (Alliance Financial Partners), Secretary Darin Dahl (Maronda Homes), Alternate Bob
Morin (Those Cabinet Guys) and Immediate Past President Roy Waldhauer II (By The Shore) Past Associate Vice President Anjanette Stevens (Professional Title).

Board of directors include: Trey Tully (Trey Tully Allstate), Chris Piscitelli (McGowan’s Services), David Alfin (Grand Living Real Estate), Donald O’Brien (Hayward Brown), Jason DeLorenzo (Southern Title), Frank Whalen (East Coast Building Corp.), Brygitte Lusinski (Chardani Building & Remodeling), Eric Phillips (Phillips Coastal Construction), Luis Medeiros (A Plus Home Improvements) and Mark Langello (M&M Building & Development).

New hire

  • Jamie Harrison was selected to serve as the internal communications manager for the Florida Hospitals located within Lake, Flagler and Volusia counties.

     

Awards

  •  Tony Amaral Jr, of Amaral Homes & Pools, was named the Builder of the year by the Flagler HBA.

  • Paula Atkerson, of Southern Title, was named the Associate of the Year by the Flagler HBA.

  • Scott Sowers, of Cline Construction, was given the President's Award by the Flagler HBA for Outstanding Leadership in Government Affairs.
