Agents from Adams Cameron Realtors, the largest residential real estate firm in the Daytona Beach market, filled the banquet room at The Shores Resort and Spa on Jan. 22 to recognize successes of the past year and look forward to 2019. The 55-year-old company has almost 300 agents in seven offices in Volusia County and one that opened in Palm Coast last year. The company has eight agents with more than 29 years of service.

John Adams, president, said the number of transactions declined a little in 2018, but sale prices were up which resulted in higher revenue. There were 1,826 transactions with a sales volume of $433,438,466. Recognized during the breakfast were the highest transaction at $1,550,000, and the lowest at $6,000. There were a wide variety of other awards.

Adams announced that the company has been named in the top 1,000 residential real estate brokerages in the country by both RIS Media and T3Sixty, websites that provide real estate news and research.

Community involvement was highlighted at the meeting, with a total community benefit of $50,000 through the Adams Cameron Foundation.

Buffy McKinney, regional director of the American Heart Association, thanked the gathering for participating in the Heart Walk.

“You have no idea what you’re doing on a daily basis,” she said. “I hear it from the survivors.”
