Kittens found in trash bag over Fourth of July weekend, doing OK

The kittens were found near a Port Orange park on Canal View Boulevard.

A litter of kittens were found in a trash bag over Fourth of July weekend and are now in the care of a veterinarian. As of Wednesday, July 10, the kittens are being watched closely and are eating well, according to Port Orange Police Department Public Information Officer Evan Doyle.

The kittens were found near a park on Canal View Boulevard and were located by a passerby.
