A 76-year-old man died on the night of Saturday, June 15, after a "medical issue" caused him to lose control of his vehicle on State Road 100, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

George Serafino, of Palm Coast, was driving east on S.R. 100 when the medical issue caused him to loose control of his 2017 Nissan Rogue. He veered onto the right shoulder of the road, striking a concrete light pole, coming to rest in front of the Flagler Dodge Dealership at around 7:15 p.m.
