reported that Murphy indicated she wanted him to point a revolver at her, and that Richardson complied, pulling the trigger twice. The second time, the revolver fired a bullet into her shoulder and back, according to the press release.

VCSO detectives determined her death was caused by Richardson's negligence and failure to check the revolver before pointing it at her and pulling the trigger. He is being held on a $10,000 bond at the Volusia County Branch Jail.
