AdventHealth's Week of Caring Event benefits Food Brings Hope

Toys, school supplies, and nonperishable food items were collected throughout the week and donated.

Food Brings Hope was the recipient of donations from the AdventHealth Week of Caring. Every year, during the Week of Caring in November, AdventHealth employees demonstrate their service standards outside the walls of the hospital by volunteering their time and talents in the community.

While AdventHealth employees were not able to come together in person this year, they came together in spirit. AdventHealth hosted a food and toy drive across their five hospitals in Volusia/Flagler counties. All of the toys and school supplies as well as nonperishable food items collected through the week (Nov. 13-20) were donated to Food Brings Hope. Embry-Riddle Athletics Department helped pick up the items collected at each hospital. Food Brings Hope is very grateful for these strong community partners.
