Motorcycle crash near Matanzas Woods Parkway results in death of rider

Dennis Karr Corbin, 36, lost control of the motorcycle after it struck a raised concrete median.

A motorcycle crash on Sunday, Feb. 9, resulted in the death of its rider, according to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol.

At about 2:27 a.m., Dennis Karr Corbin, 36, of Live Oak was riding his black 2013 Harley Davidson north on US 1, just south of Matanzas Woods Parkway in Flagler County. Corbin lost control of the motorcycle after it struck a raised concrete median, causing it to collide with the roadway.

Corbin was pronounced dead at the scene.

This investigation is still ongoing at this time.
