Flagler County's Veterans Day ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 11 at the Flagler Auditorium, but the in-person event will be invitation-only due to COVID-19 restrictions, according to a news release from the auditorium.

The ceremony will be streamed live on the city of Palm Coast's YouTube and Facebook pages.

The event will be followed by an 11 a.m. barbecue luncheon for veterans and their families at Central Park in Town Center, at 975 Central Avenue in Palm Coast. The luncheon is free but requires reservations, which can be made by calling the Flagler Auditorium at 386-437-7547 or the Flagler County Veterans Services Office at 386-31-4014, or through parksandrec.fun/events.

"We are immensely excited to be involved with this innovative way to bring this event to our veterans and demonstrate the Auditorium’s continued commitment to our community, even during these difficult times,"  Auditorium Director Amelia Fulmer said, according to the news release.

CORRECTION: This story has been updated to correct the locations at which the ceremony will be livestreamed.
