A 34-year-old Palm Coast man was arrested Dec. 15 after a probation check found cocaine and cannabis in his home.

The man was on probation for possession of over 20 grams of marijuana, according to a Flagler County Sheriff's Office news release. A probation officer entered the man's home on Round Table Lane and found what appeared to be pounds' worth of marijuana in plastic bags, alongside mushrooms and cash.

The officer contacted the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, and the FCSO's Special Investigations Unit searched the home, finding 12 grams of cocaine, 3.5 pounds of cannabis, and drug paraphernalia.

The suspect has previously been arrested in Flagler County on charges of Possession of Marijuana 20g or More, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, and Possession of Hashish. He’s also faced multiple charges in other jurisdictions, according to the news release.

“This guy has been a frequent flyer at the Green Roof Inn,” Sheriff Rick Staly said, according to the news release. “Our SIU team and the probation officer did another great job acting quickly to get a search warrant and seize these illegal drugs. I hope the justice system holds him accountable for his actions and his continuous criminal activity. He's had enough opportunities to turn his life around and refuses. Now it’s time to start 2022 with some time in state prison."

The man was arrested on charges of Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Violation of Probation and transported to the county jail.
