Pedestrian injured in train-related crash in Ormond Beach

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

One person was injured in a crash involving a train on Nova Road near U.S. 1 on Wednesday, June 9, according to the city.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The train was stopped, blocking the railroad crossings at Wilmette Avenue and Lincoln Avenue, but was cleared as of 2:54 p.m.
